Getting interested in painting barong from 7 years old and started making clay barong masks from third grade elementary school. His father is his inspiration. First year in Junior High School, started making mini barongs and trying to make a mask from wood, until when vocational high school (SMK), chose traditional painting in SMKN 1 BATUBULAN.

While in SMK, he started to learn painting and also has a hobby making a mask, continuing his education grade to Indonesian Institute of Arts (ISI Denpasar) majoring in painting. On the other hand, while finishing his mask, he felt something not complete, because of not filling it with tatahan. Because of that matter, he started to learn how to make tatahan in a year.

He has been passionate about doing tatahan since college. Always improving his work, and getting better day by day. Until one day, he decided to be a silversmith.
